Advantages of Pre-university Coaching
1. There is no use of any type of medication and therefore no side effects.
2. The duration of a complete procedure is very short, consisting of a 50-minute interview followed by six sessions and also 50 minutes each.
3. In all sessions there is a precise and forceful direction of the conversation by the Coach so that time is not wasted with unnecessary ramblings, dynamics with drawings or games, so common in psychoanalytic approaches.
4. In the interview, the Coach skillfully interacts with questions capable of extracting from the client what really matters, in order to outline the best action plan. In general, it transforms the state of a lot of initial disbelief on the part of the most demanding client into another state of more receptiveness and hope for the next sessions.
5. The Coach knows exactly what patterns to look for. The emotions, limiting decisions and conflicts that may be present supporting the problems. When he locates them, he knows exactly how to lead the client to resignify them, that is, what to do to modify them and make them “ecological” for the internal mental system.
6. The Coach always keeps in mind some of the values that support the achievement of the objective: empathy/acceptance, ethics, focus, objectivity, precision and result. In addition to notes and a detailed description of what the client has as a goal to be achieved (desired state).
7. After the 1st, 3rd and 6th sessions, the client fills in a “feed-back” questionnaire in order to express the degree of satisfaction with the procedure and the progression of how much, in %, has already been obtained throughout the process.
8. The cost/benefit is very favorable since the number of sessions is small and the investment value is, on average, equal to or less than the other methods, per session, that is, very affordable.
